This page is the information notice on personal data processing under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), for guests and website visitors of Hotel Sirena Saturn. In short: we collect only the data needed for booking, your stay and communication, use it only for these purposes, never sell it and keep it only as long as needed or required by law.

1. The controller

2. Data subjects and data processed

Hotel guests: name, ID details (at check-in), phone, email, dates of stay, number of guests, preferences, billing details.

People requesting an offer: name, phone, email, preferred dates, number of guests and other details provided voluntarily.

Website visitors: technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), collected through cookies and integrated third-party services (Google Maps, 4Booking).

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Booking and providing accommodation and meals — performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Guest register, invoicing, accounting — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• Safety of people and property, running the website — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Information on allergies or dietary restrictions — explicit consent, given voluntarily, used only to prepare meals (Art. 9(2)(a)).
• Offer communications — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a)).

4. Recipients

Data may be shared, strictly as needed, with: the online booking platform and payment processor, the offer request platform, IT and hosting providers, accounting and legal advisers, and public authorities where the law requires it. All our partners must keep data confidential and secure.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Data is generally processed in the European Union. Some third-party services (such as Google Maps or Google Analytics) may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area, made by those providers under GDPR safeguards.

6. Retention

• booking and billing data: for the period required by tax and accounting law;
• guest register: for the period required by current regulations;
• correspondence and requests: as long as needed to resolve them and then to defend legitimate rights;
• newsletter data: until you unsubscribe;
• allergy information: only for the duration of your stay.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing. Send requests to sirena@avenuehotels.ro; we will reply within one month at most. You may complain to ANSPDCP, www.dataprotection.ro.
